Earning scholarship dollars begins in the Grade 10 year with the student becoming increasingly aware of available scholarships and their criteria. Students are encouraged to create and build scholarship portfolios throughout their high school years, in anticipation of the scholarship application process. Portfolios could/should include, but not be limited to: official marks, significant achievements, volunteer efforts and reference letters. Salisbury Composite High School Awards Program

All Salisbury Composite High School students are eligible to participate in our school based awards program. With the support of community and corporate sponsorship, students can earn recognition for outstanding citizenship, volunteer, athletic and academic achievements. Beginning in the spring of each year (May) students are identified through a nomination and/or application process (announcement for students to pick up awards applications), with final selections made by the awards committee (June 1st).

Salisbury Composite High School's awards format involves an afternoon school assembly which is held for Grade 10 and 11 award earners and an evening celebration for the previous years' graduates.  These ceremonies are held in late October, early November each year.
